Hotel Antica Fenice

"We booked a night in this hotel very last-minute after a bad air bnb experience and we are so glad we did. Everything happens for a reason! Barbara was welcoming and friendly from the moment we walked in. She turned around our whole experience so much that we stayed for an extra night. We had 2 rooms, both were clean & comfortable with air con and fridges too. The hotel itself is beautiful, the gardens are lovely. There is a bar area and breakfast is incredible - with homemade cakes and melon grown in the owners garden. Barbara gave us a very detailed info guide on Venice and how to explore it within the time we had and arranged our travel passes for public transport too. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting venice. A short 20 min bus ride away from Venice (very easy to do!)."

"This is an absolutely lovely little hotel. The owner Barbara could not do enough for us. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was big and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice, typical continental style. Barbara provides information on how to get into Venice and things to do there. You can also get public transport tickets from her. The tourist visa is also provided cause your stating in a hotel and Barabra also gave us these. All around brilliant stay."
