Hotel Canarco

"Recently, I spent four blissful days in Viareggio. A friend had booked the Hotel Canarco for me and I could not have been happier there. This small, 10-room hotel is ideally placed for visiting Viareggio township and for the sea. Cristina, Luca and their two children, Giacomo and Martina who take care of their guests with great attention to detail could not have been more obliging or kinder to me whilst I was there. My ground-floor room was airy and cool and it was a pleasure to have breakfast in the garden at the back. There is also a small garden in front of the hotel where you can sit and often have the possibility to chat with others staying at the hotel. I recommend it."

"Great location, great and warm and welcoming owner. Wide rooms with private bathrooms. Lovely patio for breakfast. No fan or air condition which was a pity, it's very hot in this area, even in september. Also, some tiger mosquitos in Tuscany so gotta watch out for them."

"The hotel is about ten minutes from the train station and a block away from the main beach strip. It's very cute from the outside and has a nice breakfast area on an outdoor patio. The room was nothing special, small, but cozy none the less. The staff was very cordial and helpful with finding good deals on the beach clubs and good restaurants near by."
