Hotel Bacco

"A friendly, family run, tourist standard hotel with a personal feel. Room in the original block adequate and comfortable, although shower cubicle small and in need of updating. Good sized bed and easy to use air conditioning. Balcony an advantage in the hot weather. Pool area and garden lovely, with fresh towels provided daily. Art work on display throughout hotel and piano available in the lounge, which you are welcome to tinkle. Drinking from the bar not really ‘a thing’ but available if you ask. Breakfast good, once you ask for eggs and bacon to be cooked( not on view). Lovely fresh breads and pastries daily, good variety of cold meats, cheese etc. Had dinner one evening; very good quality food and reasonably priced. Good value wine. Excellent service from every member of staff. The owner’s daughter and her husband are very hands on, helpful and efficient. Local taxis are expensive, but if you book from Reception, Dominique’s husband may take you in his car for a much more reasonable rate. For a day trip, he drove us to the train station and picked us up in the evening and on our final morning he drove us to Pisa airport. This very personal service makes Hotel Bacco special. I’d recommend it."

"We have just spent one week at the Hotel Bacco, this is an exceptional hotel with friendly welcoming and helpful management and staff team. We very much enjoyed staying at Bacco, with It’s beautiful garden and interesting lounges. We enjoyed the relaxed and easy going atmosphere. It is a quirky interesting hotel, the rooftop lounge has a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and Tuscan mountains. We would most definitely recommend this quiet little gem in the heart of Lido di Camaiore"

"Hotel Bacco was excellent last time we visited it. But now after building new rooms and pool to garden it's even better. New rooms are stylish and clean. The garden is like paradise in the middle of the small town of Lido di Camaiore. Hotel staff is friendly and maestro himself still keeps on going and makes everyone to smile. Bacco's kitchen didn't fail this time either. And that's one more reason to go and stay in Bacco. If you are going to Lido di Camaiore and need something extra - go there."
