City Hotel

"Nice hotel, not too cheap. Breakfast is continental and fair choice of things to eat. Our room was at the last floor and wifi did not work there. The lounge is classy but the rooms a bit dated. Spacious though. The lift is a platform lift. You have to press a button constantly otherwise it will stop. For dome reason my boyfriend loved it, I felt trapped in there! The hotel is located very close to the sea and the main road with lots of restaurants and shops. The staff is really nice and friendly. "

"A quaint, newly refurbished hotel a stones throw away from the promenade. The manager is a very friendly chap who clearly cares about his guests and his hotel. Every morning he'd be on hand to make guests their coffee of choice with their breakfast. The breakfast is a buffet of pastries, bread, meats, fruits and yogurts which I believe is sourced from the local supermarket. The rooms are sizeable and come with a fridge, safe and a large double bed. Our bed wasn't the most comfortable unfortunately. We ordered a sea view double which slightly disappointed with the view as I had to hang half of my torso out of the window to see the sea. All in all, a clean and tidy modern hotel in a perfect location at a very good price for what you're getting. Recommend."

"4 nights in room 12. Top floor. Very small 2 person lift but didn't cause any issues. Room had a street view. Room very clean, had tea and coffee and fridge facilities/stocked with a few drinks reasonably priced. Very very small bathroom. Bed was uncomfortable, hard with a couple of spring issues. Requested additional pillows and they came straight away, in fact service was excellent everything and more was provided from front desk to breakfast. Hotel is French in style and recently decorated white and cream theme. Location is very good just a couple of steps away from main walking beachfront. We used La Pace beach club €30 for 2 beds and brolley per day, was good, nice snack bar and bar area. Hotel provided early breakfast at 730 day of leaving. Would go back. Recommended. Price is reasonable as prices in Viareggio are expensive for accommodation."
