"From our window we could see the river Dora which flows just behind the hotel and the snow-capped Alps in the distance. The bed was one of the widest we've ever slept in and the room was comfortable and spacious. Bathroom had shower and bidet. Buffet breakfast was varied."

"The Pacific Hotel Fortino claims to be 4*on booking.com. In my humble opinion it is maximum 3*. It must have even less& but it’s personnel improves the impression. The lady at the counter spoke fluent decent English and Russian and was very helpful. The rest was poor. Tired rooms need renovation and a more light. It was December 29th, Sunday and the restaurant in this hotel was closed, so we were not able even to use room service. Water in the tap was miserable and we could hardly take a shower. In the result, if you do not care about room service, shower, decoration and comfort it is a nice hotel to stay in."
