You’ll find it just a 15-minute stroll from Spiagiia di Sorrento, one of the town’s most popular beaches, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars, and places of historical interest.
Don’t expect your typically basic inner-city lodgings around here. For starters, there’s a small yet intimate spa that boasts a thermal saltwater pool with hydro jets, a Finnish sauna, and a luxurious steam bath to help you unwind. The wider interior, meanwhile, is eye-catchingly modern, and every room comes with air conditioning, minibar, and a private bathroom as standard.
But staying here also means you have the whole of the Sorrento area at your fingertips, including the Valley of the Mills, which boasts some of the most memorable views of the Peninusla and is just a 15-minute stroll from the hotel. Palazzo Correalo – a 14th Century courtyard – is also 10 minutes away, while the nearby train station will take history buffs directly to the ancient wonders of Pompeii and Hercleneum.
Built up an appetite? Sorrento is famous for its fine wines and independent eateries that specialise in upmarket Italian fare. The only downside is that you won’t be able to try them all.
Please note that shared transfer vehicles do not go down to the entrance, pick up and drop off will be outside the Hotel Ascot, which is 220 metres away. The quickest route on foot includes a flight of steps. If you opted for a private transfer, they will pick up/drop off right outside the entrance.
