Residence Le Terrazze Sorrento

"I stayed in La Terraze in March for Easter, It was Truly an amazing Holiday. The view was breathtaking as you sit looking out over the vistas, With breakfast, which was the best Coffee I had in Sorrento, along with pastries. Fresh Juice, bottled water. The hotel was in a lovely peaceful tranquil setting, The air quality is fresh, The rooms are clean, spacious with everything you need. Just 20 mins on the Hotel Shuttle Bus into Sorrento Town. Which runs frequently. There was restaurants around the hotel. You can also take a short 30 minute walk to the nearest town Saint Agata to pick up groceries. The staff are lovely and helpful. The staff even did my washing up! to my amazement. I agree with other reviews this could be 5 star. Thank you all! for such a wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the world. "We booked this hotel at the last minute and decided to pay a little extra for the apartment, which accommodates up to six people. This worked perfectly for our family, as our teenage children (15 and 13) were able to enjoy their own space. We arrived at the hotel at around 11:25am and were delighted to find that our room was already ready. After dropping off our bags, we headed straight to the complimentary shuttle bus, which took us into central Sorrento. The journey took approximately 15-20 minutes, and the service ran punctually according to the timetable. We never had any issues getting a seat, even on the final return bus at 11:30pm. Our apartment was very clean, freshly painted, and well equipped with air conditioning, a fridge, and a lovely terrace. The standard of accommodation was excellent for a three-star hotel. The swimming pool was also a welcome relief after spending long days exploring in the summer heat. Breakfast consisted of croissants, yoghurt, cereal, and other continental options, which suited us perfectly. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and we slept very well throughout our stay. The staff were attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. We particularly enjoyed the bar terrace, which was a great place to relax with a cold beer in the evening. The only minor downside was that some of the sunbeds around the pool could do with being upgraded, but this certainly did not detract from our overall experience. We would happily stay here again if we return to Sorrento in the future. Trips during our stay: We visited Capri and Pompeii, which provided more than enough sightseeing for our trip. Overall: A very enjoyable stay, offering excellent value for money, friendly service, and a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of central Sorrento. Highly recommended."

"Very disappointing trip overall. The staff tried really hard to be helpful but unfortunately this did not compensate for the inadequacies of the hotel. Breakfast and bar choice was extremely limited The pool area was grubby with only 1 parasol for shade and ants all over the sun beds The room was kept clean but the sink was cracked and plaster was peeling off the wall next to the bed The only redeeming feature of the hotel was the view over Sorrento due to its position up a steep hill"
