A panoramic paradise
Prepare to be struck by some genuinely magnificent views at this gorgeous hotel in Sorrento, where the terrace offers panoramic vistas out over Mount Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples. It’s a sight to behold, but the rich aesthetics aren’t confined to outside the hotel, as rooms contain works of modern art collected by the owner.
Making the most of that awe-inspiring view, the hotel has also put an impressive pool out on the terrace, meaning that you can enjoy gazing at the Sorrento coastline from the water, perhaps with a cocktail in hand from the poolside bar. You’ll doubtless be spending a lot of time outside, but indoors does have its advantages, primarily in the form of a well-equipped spa, featuring a range of massages and treatments, plus both Turkish and steam baths.
For a change of scenery, the hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from the lovely town of Sorrento (if you’ve got your own transport, there’s free parking available at the hotel), which offers everything from historic sights to buzzing bars to art galleries. You may not need to visit a gallery, though, since you’re essentially staying in one – plus you’ve got the kind of view on your doorstep that no picture can quite do justice to. This is one hotel that really does live up to its name.
Please note: due to its hillside location, this hotel may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Find out more about Sorrento
The first stop on the Amalfi Coast after Naples, Sorrento is one of the most famous towns in the area, and with good reason. With so much to do, Sorrento holidays can include much more than sipping limoncello and sunbathing – though, of course, lots of people choose to do just that. Connected to Naples by train, Sorrento is as easy to visit as it is to stay in – its pedestrian streets and abundant lemon trees attracting both shoppers and weekenders.
