Hotel la Pergola

"The photos online looked good but the hotel was worn. We were put in a room at the top with no lift, next to the roof terrace. The room was tatty and the shower dribbled out. Loud clubbing dance music on the terrace was turned on at 7am until 10pm so we were disturbed constantly. Breakfast was basic but the pastries were edible. Staff were enthusiastic and tried to be helpful. The good thing was the view from the roof terrace. Unfortunately i wouldn’t recommend this hotel."

"I stayed with my husband and my son at this hotel for 3 nights. I am very satisfied, an excellent hotel, with rooms that are not very large, but still comfortable, colorful, modern. The common areas are clean, as is the pool, not very large, but very pretty, with the possibility of hydromassage. Perhaps the only flaw is few sun loungers, so not satisfactory for all guests, but in any case you can take advantage of the splendid sun terrace, where there was a beautiful view, and where you could watch an unforgettable sunset. The staff is very kind, smiling, helpful and attentive. The hotel has a strategic location, about 10 minutes to reach the beach, a pleasant path, where you can enjoy a beautiful view down on the terrace. The elevator service to the beach is very useful. As is the shuttle service offered by the hotel, to reach magical Sorrento in the evening... but it was until 11:00 PM, therefore upon returning we preferred to walk back, about 25 minutes on foot to reach the hotel. The parking is also useful, 20 euros per day, for the car, so you avoid the stress of parking. The staff welcomed us with prosecco in the room, and 3 tickets for the Cafè Latino in Sorrento.. In any case, it was an excellent experience, I highly recommend it, we will gladly return, and I thank the entire staff from the bottom of my heart for the welcome."

"I booked this hotel through the hotel's website for my name day to be able to spend a romantic weekend with my husband. I chose the property because it advertises the pool... once we arrived the pool was unusable not because it didn't work but because it is provided with few sun loungers and not all guests can use them and the advertising of this service is misleading and deceptive. The room was dated and the bathroom was full of mold. The only positive note was the young staff who were very helpful and welcoming. For the rest, everything needs to be reviewed and the real photos and real places in the pool published so as to be able to let those who want to book choose freely so as not to create deception. Fortunately, after a thousand complaints, the Management offered us entry to the pool at the hotel opposite LA FLORIDA and the next day we paid 40 euros out of our own pocket to the same hotel to be able to use the pool."
