"We had a very good stay at Hotel Mascagni and especially want to recognize the incredible staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and spoke excellent English. The service throughout our stay was absolutely outstanding and made a huge difference in our experience. Breakfast was also excellent. There was a great selection every morning, everything was delicious, and the staff working breakfast were wonderful. The location of the hotel was another major positive — it was very convenient for exploring Rome and close to public transportation, restaurants, and many of the city's attractions. The only reason we are giving four stars rather than five is that our room felt a little older and less modern than some of the other hotels we stayed at during our trip. The door locks could also be a little finicky, and having to leave the room key at the front desk whenever we left the hotel felt somewhat unusual. That being said, these were relatively minor issues compared with everything the hotel did well. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, breakfast was outstanding, and most importantly, the people were fantastic. We would still recommend Hotel Mascagni to anyone looking for a welcoming and conveniently located hotel in Rome."
