iQ Hotel Roma

"Hotel very well located for a family stay in Rome Proximity to the station for Train/Plane access Proximity to the subway line (5min) City center and Colosseum 20 min away on foot Family room with a real bed (Not a sofa) for the children Hearty breakfast and restaurants nearby Attentive staff"

"The iQ Hotel Roma, one of the best hotel choices you can make in the Eternal City, is near enough the Termini rail station but also far enough away to be in a separate area way from the noise and the crowds. It overlooks the opera house so if the names Verdi, Rossini, and Puccini mean anything to you, it's kind of a thrill to imagine them performed in today's Rome. We were greeted with such enthusiasm by Natalia, whose warm smile, friendliness and willingness to help set the tone for the whole visit. The lobby and the rooms are immaculate. The high-tech room itself reflected the greetings, all kinds of welcoming gratis snacks and drinks. It was quiet and comfortable, with an excellent, clean bathroom full of amenities. In short, the iQ Hotel was a real find, and we will book again on our next trip to Rome. Remarkably, after filling out a follow up review, I received a note from the resident manager, thanking me for that. Now that's good customer care. Don't miss the breakfast and the restaurant looked very inviting with a beautiful roof garden view of the city, too. Very strongly recommended."

"Our family of three (2 adults and one 4 year old child) were comfortably accommodated in a triple room for a 3 night stay before a cruise. The room was larger than we had anticipated with plenty of storage for our luggage (we had a lot as this was part of a 5 week trip), and the bathroom and all the furniture was very new and well kept. We especially appreciated the minibar and snacks available each day at no cost, and the free drink at the rooftop bar was a treat. We paid for the breakfast buffet each morning and were very happy with the selection of foods available. Reception staff were super helpful, even before we arrived, happily organising transfers for us from the airport and to the cruise port. They were also able to recommend a local laundry for a wash and fold service when we ran out of time to do our own in the self-service laundry available at the hotel. If you’re travelling with young kids and planning to use the rooftop facilities, just be aware that the hot tub is for 10 years and over. There is also no longer the play equipment in the courtyard as shown in some pictures on TripAdvisor. Neither was an issue for us, but worth noting if these are features you want to use. The location is great for access to Termini and Republica for trains/metro and an easy walk to many city sites. And right across from the Opera House if that’s your vibe!"
