Hotel Scott House

"Holiday | Couple We would highly recommend Hotel Scott House. The shining star for us was the staff, they were fantastic ! Reception staff were absolutely lovely, friendly, polite, helpful and accommodating. The buffet staff were equally as good. The experience with the staff really elevated our stay. The hotel is 4 floors up so take the lift or be prepared, it’s not an issue. The room was perfectly functional, clean and had sky tv and a mini fridge. We only used the room as a base as we were out all day exploring, nice clean bed and good mattress. The hotel is literally a stones throw from the termini station and despite it being a busy bustling area we had no issues with noise. We stayed on a super hot weekend - 31degrees and air con was sufficient to keep room cool we had the door open but kept shutters closed for ventilation until we went to sleep and they completely shut out the street noise when closed. The buffet was delicious and plentiful at just 10 euros per person. Really couldn’t find fault and would definitely return, thank you! X"

"We stayed at the Hotel Scott House for 5 nights whilst visiting Rome on an easyJet holiday. We are over 65 and so when we first arrived were worried about the hotel being on the 4th and 5th floors of the building! We needn’t have worried as there is a lift albeit small and fairly slow. Our room was compact, but clean and with air conditioning. It included a fridge, but alas for us brits no drink making facilities. The staff we met - from front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping were all very polite and most helpful. We had breakfast included and this was continental, so cereal, yogurt, boiled eggs, cold meat and cheese, breads and cakes/pastries as well as some fruit. We were able to store our luggage until our room was ready (we had a very early flight) as well as when leaving (late flight) The hotel is in a great spot, so close to the train terminal, metro stops and bus routes. We found getting around to see the sights both in Rome itself and towns a short train ride away very easy and economical."

"Exceptional. Staff extremely helpful. I travelled with my husband and grandad, we shared a family room. It was spacious, cleaned everyday, fresh towels. We stayed in room 403 and we didn't hear a single bit of outdoor noise day or night. Breakfast was brilliant, cold meats, cheeses, cakes and bakery, cereals, fresh juices the staff there each morning would make you a hot drink of your choice. No hassle. The lift was brilliant, my grandad is disabled so we need a working lift, this did the job well. It is small, however it saves us walking 4 flights of stairs and we never had any problems, therefor it was brilliant. 3 minutes from the termini station, perfect. Central and you have taxies, trams, bus, trains, all within 3 minutes. Most of the tourists bits are within walking distance. My grandad did it and he is 80 years old, with a triple heart by pass. We walked approx 20k steps a day and was well worth it. A very very happy family, hotel really was perfect and not worth less then 5 star rating. Thank you to the staff for looking after us, teaching us Italian, and also for holding our luggage even when we checked out and allowing us to use your facilities to freshen up before coming home."
