"After reading some reviews I was a little scared to stay here but actually it was ok. The hotel is near the termini which is great for the hop on hop off bus and the termini also has a lot of good shops. There are people milling about but as long as you lock your handbag and are vigilant then you'll be ok. Rome is notorious for pickpockets. The hotel itself was old world dated, we traveled as a family and had various rooms and some were more updated than others. Breakfast was sufficient and tea/coffee is served to you. Honest option the reception staff need some customer service training. Hotel has lots of eateries near it for an evening meal. Got a taxi from hotel to palatine hill, cost was 15 euros. Overall I would stay here again."

"We visited during 5-8 October 2026. The weather was just right, not too hot and comfortable to do our sightseeing. The hotel is a great base to access all the main sights. The location of the hotel is superb - just around the corner from the metro and a few stops away from the colleseum and other attractions. Lovely Italian feel about this small boutique hotel. Staff are attentive, polite and courteous, especially Jervin who served us pre dinner drinks willingly before heading off out to eat. The hotel is nearby to an array of restaurants and we found a favourite in Santa Maria, just a few doors up from the hotel - family run since 1992, food and staff were amazing! They have separate menus in nearly every language! We had a lovely room in the newly refurbished block (rm 542) and it did not disappoint. It was so nice to be able to open the window, throw back the shutters and take in the hustle and bustle of Rome. Breakfast was sufficient for our needs, prompt, and staff attentive and welcoming. The lifts are very small, and some international guests find this a weakness, but is only to be expected in an old building with structural limitations - get real! This isn’t New York City. We managed just fine. Decor is tasteful and maybe a bit dated, but we liked the traditional feel and ambience of the hotel. We would defo visit again - its unique selling point is its location and as we were only in Rome for a few days, was a key factor. Well done team Hotel Morgana. See you next time!"

"An aging hotel in the center of Rome, near Termini station. However, one should not let the hotel's outward appearance influence them. My wife and I were very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms are very clean and the friendly room service staff ensures that guests always have clean and tidy rooms. The breakfast buffet is very extensive. The service staff there is also very friendly and takes care of the guests and their needs. The staff at the reception is available around the clock. Unfortunately, you don't get far with German, but that is to be considered secondary. For those who speak some English, they will also be helped very kindly there. This hotel is perfect for a city trip to Rome. It is located a maximum of 3 minutes' walk from Termini station and 5 minutes from the Green Line, Hop on Hop off meeting point. What more could you want?"
