Hotel Ariston

"On paper (and in price) it is a four-star, but something is wrong. The area, as you know, is not exactly chic, like all areas adjacent to train stations, but this is known. The room was comfortable, but not adequately or promptly cleaned. Obsolete and tiny safe, television difficult to tune to digital, spotty wi-fi. On the other hand, the staff at reception, in the breakfast room, and the floor staff were excellent and helpful, ready to resolve any inconvenience, in particular the very capable Giordano. The breakfast is fully satisfactory. The aforementioned accessories (horrible TVs) should be improved and the cleanliness of the rooms should be taken care of a little better. Overall, however, a positive judgment."

"Felt I had to write a review after reading negative feedback prior to my visit. Traveled with my son for a 3 night break with Jet 2. We arrived early to Rome via train which was very easy to do. The hotel is literally less than a 5 minute walk across the street from the train station. The street is great with convenience stores close by and lovely restaurants directly across the street. We were told our room was ready for us (we didn’t expect it so early) The room was huge and tea and coffee was included as was a free safe. Toiletries were included too with plenty fresh fluffy towels. The room was immaculately clean and I’m really fussy. Staff were always at hand and very helpful. Breakfast was included and again really impressed with the huge selection of cooked and fresh food along with cakes , pastries and even salads. They do a ready wrapped selection of sandwiches to take out if you want to. Coffee is great. Taxis , maps, directions and recommendations were always available from reception staff. A fantastic stay which far exceeds my expectations. Well done Ariston Hotel , we will be back"

"The hotel is less than 5 minutes from Rome Termini station and has a good location. Our room was large and very clean, comfortable and quiet. Good coffee for breakfast (cappuccino or regular coffee) and sufficient buffet. Would gladly return anytime"
