We stayed four nights at the end of June while Rome was in the grip of a heatwave. Check in was quick, informative and friendly. Reception team are welcoming and very helpful. Cristine provided us with a map as well as recommended local restaurants, both of which were delicious. The room was perfect, cool, comfortable and clean. A previous review mentioned limited air con which worried me a bit but I'm happy to confirm this is not the case and our room was the perfect temperature. Towels were big and soft, an important feature! Plenty of plugs for charging, including usb sockets: very useful for an international traveller. Little fridge in the room was so handy, particularly in 36°. Breakfast was good, lots of choice. A particular mention for Michaela (sorry for the spelling!) who oversees breakfast. Everything was perfect and attended to in a timely manner. She was very friendly and helpful when we were a little late for breakfast one day. The rooftop terrace garden is a cool space to chill out at siesta time with a drink purchased from the fridge in reception or a local shop. A lovely addition to the facilities. Location is very handy for termini which has trains, metro and buses. This hotel and it's staff provide a great base at a reasonable price. If we return to Rome we would certainly stay here again. "Within a 10 minute walk from Termini station with all its transport links around Rome, so the idea place to stay. Des Artistes is a lovely little gem of a place. Rooms are small but clean, housekeeping is daily ! The bathroom is small but it’s all there 😂 As a base to sleep whilst out all day exploring this beautiful city Des Artistes hits the mark. Breakfast was an absolute delight so much more than the basic continental breakfast we expected, scrambled eggs, sausages plus hard boiled eggs which were delicious sliced on some of the lovely range of breads. Fruits, cereals, yogurts, cold meats, cheeses plus a lovely selection of sweet pastries. There was something to suit the fussiest eater. The hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. One evening after a day walking in near 40degree temps we couldn’t face a trip out too far for food. We asked reception for recommendations near the hotel and were sent round the corner to The Bramble……..oh my ! The food was incredible the softest and most tender octopus I’ve ever had . So a shout out to The Bramble too☺️."

"City break with Jet 2. Hotel is a 10-15 min stroll from Termini. It is in a quiet location within easy reach of bus and metro and links to all major attractions. Rooms are comfortable, nice breakfast area and bonus of a roof terrace. A few nice resturants within walking distance. The reception staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended."
