"This place treats people disgustingly. Would not recommend anyone to stay here, is not at all what was advertised on photos. The walls had mold on them, our “en-suite bathroom” that we paid for was “out of order” so we had to walk down the dungeon like hallway to a staff area every time we needed the bathroom. The bathroom doors do not lock and are all broken. Open wiring in all rooms including the bathroom, which is extremely unsafe. You have to pay extra to turn on the air conditioning. They advertise that you can only pay in cash and do not offer card unless you ask. When telling the staff that we were unsatisfied with our stay and wish for a partial refund they held my passport and refused to return it until we payed the city tax. Refund was refused and only offered us €35 euro refund of city tax when I had already paid €400 euro for our entire stay. They did not give my passport back until we paid the full amount of the stay. Absolutely disgusting behavior from the staff throughout a heated discussion and continued to talk in Italian to other members walking in and out of the hostel about us while we were standing right infront of them. Spoke to the owner who also refused a partial refund and said the only compensation he could give us was towels and a voucher for a drink at a bar. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Took complete advantage of young travelers, was absolute disgusting and extremely dissatisfied by the lack of service provided. Go elsewhere don’t bother wasting your money."

"Do not stay here!!! As soon as we walked in there was a cockroach walking on the floor and an ant farm in the bathroom. The weather was 97 degrees out and they have and air conditioning ( must just be for the looks) because it does not work at all! It was extraordinarily hard to sleep in those conditions. Staff was very polite and friendly and location was great if you need to be near train station."

"Vile, rude and disrespectful staff. Beg bugs, no locks on the toilet doors, dirty, smelly sheets. Definitely the Worst place to stay in Rome. I arrived late to the hostel and the receptionist was asleep. I went to take my boots off in the dining area to avoid waking people in my room. The receptionist told me to get out of the dining room. I apologised and said I’m just taking my boots off to avoid waking people up the shared dorm. So he replied “get the f*** out now!”. I’ve never been spoken to in such a disgusting manner. Worst staff in the world. Please don’t stay here guys. It’s really not worth it. Staff are rude and threatening."
