"Stayed at this hotel 05.02.26 - 08.02.26 in a double room on the 4th Floor (405). Our room was spacious and clean, with housekeeping attending to the room each day and providing fresh towels. As noted in other reviews the bathroom was small; however, functional for what you need it for. The shower was powerful and the water was always hot regardless of the time we had a shower.
Breakfast was provided with a good selection of hot or cold options and we were greeted with a warm welcome each morning by the staff. Guests also get a 'Gospel of the Day' note each day under the door, which was nice.
Reception Staff were lovely with warm welcome on check-in and each time we left the hotel and came back after a day of sightseeing. The main door to the hotel is closed at 3pm each day but they provide a code so you can come and go as you please. Check out is 11:00 am and reception will hold your bags if you need them to. Reception ask if you need any assistance with calling a taxi, so handy for those who would be using them, however we walked everywhere and used the Shuttle Bus from the airport with the Vatican drop off stop not to far from the hotel and only cost 5 euro each way.
This hotel is in a great location next to St Peter's Basilica, so is handy for doing the early entrance to avoid the queues and what can be a long wait. Also beneficial for visiting the Vatican Museum. Other tourist sights are walkable from the hotel which is a good way to explore Rome and the vast cobbled streets, buildings, restaurants and of course Aperol Spritz or Limoncello Spritz. Roughly 40 mins walk to the Colosseum, 25 to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.
There are restaurants nearby the hotel so no chance of going hungry.
We would definitely stay here again when we visit Rome."
