"We received a warm greeting on arrival and at departure, and always a smile as we came and went in between times. We had a lovely cosy very clean room on the first floor overlooking the street. great shower, big fluffy towels, nice soaps etc. There is a fridge in the room, with items that can be purchased, we used it to store our own snacks and drinks. A coffee machine and kettle provided with sachets of tea and coffee. The hotel is in a superb location, no more than 10/15 minutes in any direction to major sites such as the Trevi Fountain, the Colluseum, the opera house etc. the hotel is in a lovely safe area. breakfast buffet was really nice with lots of choice - coffee, tea and juices, cereals, fruits, breads, pastries, cheese, ham, scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon and served in a room with fabulous ceiling plasterwork and always a pleasant greeting from the waitress. Plenty of good places to eat locally, try places on quiet side streets rather than at the tourist spots. Rather than using the very tricky pedestrian crossing located directly at the front door (mopeds more or less ignored stopping, not even nuns or priests were safe crossing!) we used the traffic lights crossing just around the corner, turn right out of the front door and a 1 minute walk downhill - a much safer way to cross. We loved our stay at this hotel and in Rome and hope to return someday, thank you."
