Colonna Palace

"We stayed here for 7 days, and my wife and I were both happy. I was aware it was an older type hotel before booking but its location is just perfect. It overlooks the Italian Parliament and because of this there is always a large Police presence which I found to be reassuring.The Trevi Fountain and the Parthenon are both about 5 minutes away. Breakfast on the Terrace overlooking Rome was typical for Europe consisting of breakfast cereals, breakfast rolls, croissants, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, various cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurts, tea and coffee. The staff were very attentive at breakfast. Our room was spacious, cleaned every day and I always found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. We ordered drinks one night and they delivered them to the roof terrace where we enjoyed the evening sun with great views. We would return to this hotel."

"Location was perfect - 2 mins to Pantheon, 5 mins to Trevi fountain, 30 mins to Colosseum. Hotel was lovely, very clean, fantastic view from the roof top terrace where we ate breakfast each day and chilled out in the late afternoon. Hotel staff great before and during the stay; Reception very responsive/accommodating; I emailed prior to stay to organise airport transfers and connecting rooms. (Breakfast lady very friendly)."

"Stayed in this Hotel for three nights everything was perfect. Check in, Room had great views and a beautiful clean room, comfortable room for a good nights sleep after sightseeing in Rome. Central for everything. Breakfast lovely, and the views from the roof top breakfast room was something else xxxxxx"
