"I spent three days at the Rome Cavalieri for the national Notary congress. I cannot tell you anything about the rooms, and there is a reason that says a lot already: with over 1300 Notaries arriving from all over Italy, the hotel was sold out before I had time to book. I am therefore speaking only about what I experienced personally, that is the event, and it is enough to fill a review. You go up Monte Mario and Rome remains below, a fifteen-minute drive away. Around it there is a huge park which, for being in the Capital, seems almost a concession. Between one session and another, going out to breathe in the middle of the greenery, with the city visible in the distance, was a small luxury that made very full work days feel lighter. Inside, the elegance is the real kind, without ostentation. The hotel has existed since 1963 and you can feel it: spacious halls, well-kept furnishings, an air of a grand hotel that has seen everything pass through without losing its stride. The point, however, is the organization. Managing thirteen hundred professionals who move simultaneously from one room to another, who have lunch at the same times, who all have something to ask, is a test that puts any facility to the limit. Here the problems, because there are always some, I saw them arise and I saw them disappear, almost always before anyone noticed them. The hotel staff worked in harmony with those coordinating the congress, without stress and without anyone having to be looked for twice. Punctual room changes, well-managed flows even during peak hours, attention to detail from the welcome to the very last session. When an event of this size runs without you having to think about it, there is huge work done well behind it. That is what I saw for three days. If you need to organize a congress or an event where form weighs as much as substance, this is a place that knows how it is done. Highly recommended. Just one practical piece of advice: with events of this scale, the hotel fills up, so book your room well in advance."

"I have stayed at this hotel in the early 2000 nany times for a week at a time For the last 5 trips to Rome have stayed at Intercontinental and St Regis so though I would check this hotel out as I am booking 5 couples next year before a cruise and they are saying they are refurbishing To my astonishment I was told at checkin they have only refurbished 3 rooms since Jan ! I presume they are the suites So nothing is different in 20 yrs I understand that a diamond Member is a dime a dozen but they do say they upgrade at checkin I did not purchase Rome view but did purchase imperial On checkin though king Rome imperial is available to be purchased they stated no rooms available Think I will be taking my 6 room booking down into the city next year"

"The Rome Cavalieri was the perfect destination wedding venue, and the perfect stay in Rome. We cannot recommend the Rome Cavalieri enough. It is the most gorgeous hotel with incredible grounds, and incomparable views of Rome. As someone who has spent a lot of time in Rome, I cannot recommend Rome Cavalieri enough. Wedding planning stage: From booking through after our event, the staff who assisted us (Luigi and Serena- you are the BEST) with our wedding went above and beyond to make our event perfect. Prior to booking, they walked us through all the details of what was included with the different options and answered questions that helped us decide what we wanted to book. Booking our event was clear and easy. After booking, they promptly replied to every question we had, provided clear answers that went beyond our questions in an effort to really walk us through every detail. We had multiple calls to talk through details and they could not have been more patient and kind throughout the process. They went above our expectations and also mentioned other options we might like for our event without ever making us feel like there was an expectation that we should take their recommendations or ideas (this is something all of our married friends have complained about- feeling pressured- and we are thankful our experience truly could not be the opposite). They genuinely just wanted us to be able to have everything we could want. We also asked for vendor recommendations and they quickly provided us with recommendations. The pricing was clearly stated and there were no hidden costs. The pricing from the beginning seemed incredibly reasonable (and after our event, I can reflect on this and say with confidently that what we received and had on our wedding day for this price was truly incredible- the value is unmatched). In the days leading up to the event, they were extremely attentive and accessible to us. They walked us through the venue for the first time and took items for us that we wanted to use during the event. When we say they took care of everything for us, we truly mean they took care of everything for us!! We didn't need a wedding planner or coordinator because they were so on top of it. Wedding day: Rome Cavalieri surpassed all expectations. The staff was attentive during every stage of the night. They brought out an activity and special meals for the kids and another guest who they could tell might want it. I don't recall seeing a single empty cup or dirty plate. The food and drinks were promptly provided during the various courses throughout the night. There was never too long of lines for anything. As the bride, I did not have a single concern throughout the day because I knew they were on top of it, and they were even more on top of it than I could have ever imagined. They kept us on schedule when I lost all track of time. They had signs everywhere for guests to easily find where to go. Food and drinks were ready immediately upon guest arrival. The food and drinks were INCREDIBLE. And there was sooooo much of it. Guests raved about the appetizers and the multi-course dinner. The wedding cake was the best cake we have ever had and was gorgeous. The dessert buffet was incredible but our guests could not get enough of the food, that they were just stuffing themselves at that point because they could not get enough. Our guests will forever be talking about this wedding because of the incredible views, incredible food/drinks, and incredible service. We feel beyond lucky to have had our wedding here. The spaces our event was in were impeccable. All the linens and table settings were gorgeous and in perfect order. We truly cannot believe how perfect it was, and perfect is the only way to describe it. This venue is a no brainer. We could go on and on about how perfect the Rome Cavalieri is. If you are considering the hotel for your next stay or event, DO IT. Hotel room: Our room and the rooms the guests stayed in were beyond compare. Truly, we will be comparing every hotel to the Rome Cavalieri for the rest of our lives, and I fear nothing will ever top this stay. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We did not want to leave! We already want to go back for our first anniversary."
