"Stayed for a couple of nights in August with my family.
Nice lobby area with very friendly helpful staff at all times.
Pool - Loved the pool and pool area. Felt brand new and my kids loved the pool and diving board however, the water was quite cold! Handy having a snack bar by the pool but noticed it wasn’t open one of the days also would be good to have a vegetarian option as nothing for me to eat for lunch there.
Playground was great mainly for younger kids but my tween still managed to have fun.
Breakfast was good. It’s Italian style so don’t expect a full English breakfast but delicious cakes/pastries and plenty of fresh fruit as well as cereals, toast etc.
Rooms - modern and spotlessly clean. Just a few points. The bunk bed was just about doable for my tween and just teen however it is quite small and wouldn’t suit children any older than this. The room was fine for a couple of nights but a couple of minor things could greatly improve it for a longer stay.
A few hooks in the bathroom would mean there is somewhere to hang towels as there’s one small rail only and also a shelf by the sink for toiletries would be useful. These are easy things the hotel could do. The room itself needs more storage for a proper length holiday, especially with 4 people in the room. The sheets were a little rough too although noone else in my family was bothered by this. Finally, there was a modern aircon unit which was silent and the room was pleasant but not as cool as I like it. Perhaps the aircon unit needed servicing. None of this was terrible but if i was to book for a weeks’ holiday I would struggle. It was absolutely fine for a short stay.
Location - it’s near the marina and you can walk out to a selection of restaurants/ice cream cafe/supermarket/a few shops just outside the hotel. The bus stop is also right outside the hotel. It only comes hourly though and you have to go elsewhere to get the tickets. The main part of Rimini is the other side of the marina although easily walkable and to make it quicker you can get a little foot ferry a very small distance to the other side. Takes a couple of mins.
Beach - Lido San Guiliano is across the road and a really nice beach with shallow sea that you can walk out ages with it being knee high. You need to book the beach chairs in advance for August."
