Promenade Luxury Wellness Hotel

"My husband and I had a great time at the Promenade Hotel even though we went a little early before the summer season. They had an outdoor pool set at 31°C, which was awesome. The hotel is on the ocean and our room had a balcony and ocean view. The bed was huge and awesome. I slept so well I didn’t want to get up. Next to our bed was a huge tub. I probably had another foot after my feet before the end of the tub it was so .our room also had a separate shower and a living room. The breakfast was great and dinner as well. The restaurant manager was very helpful and made my stay very pleasant. The town was charming. There was a wide boardwalk for people to walk on and next to it was a boardwalk for bikes. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Our experience at Promenade Hotel in Riccione was completely ruined by the behaviour of the General Manager (Sara C), who was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Never in my years of travelling have I ever known a manager to be that offensive and to put the phone down on guests. When we raised a genuine complaint, she was arrogant and dismissive. Despite repeatedly asking to meet her over several days, she refused to make herself available. To make matters worse, our room was very dirty — clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard. This is not the type of management or cleanliness you expect from a hotel claiming to offer 5 star hospitality. If you’re looking for a pleasant stay in Riccione, I strongly suggest skipping this hotel entirely and booking at Hotel Des Baines, just two minutes down the road — the difference in service and quality is like night and day and the management are delightful :)"

"The property itself was beautifully decorated and the rooms were spacious and clean with facilities for coffee/tea, English TV and minibar. The room service food was 10/10 and the staff were very helpful some stood out more than other- Anastasia from the reception was very attentive and helpful and went out of her way to show us the way to the beach. The floor restaurant food was 10/10 and one waiter in particular stood out- Glosue was probably the best English speaker at hotel and he had a great energy and manner about him! He explained everything in detail and was very friendly. The beach was a few minutes walk and beautiful. The sushi bar served some of the best sushi we’d eaten and the waiters Slava and Christofer were also very attentive and provided excellent service. The downside to the hotel is that the Italian cuisine here hardly existed which was a shame it would of been nice to of felt we were dining in Italy, also the room service was a let down as they messed up our orders on three different occasions which is frustrating considering there is a €20 room service charge."
