Hotel Corte Di Nettuno CDS Hotels

"Where to start ????????? Corte Di Nettuno Otranto Puglia what a find. My self and the better half stayed here for the last two weeks of May. The hotel is literally 300 meters from the walls of the historic old town of Otranto, so is in a perfect location. But the history actually starts the minute you walk through the hotel doors. The owner of the hotel is an avid collector of all things relating to maritime history and many of these items are on display in and around the hotel. It is almost like staying in a maritime museum. On arrival we were met with a welcome glass of prosecco and then led up to room 108. The word wow does not begin to describe our reaction. The room can only be described as amazing with a large stone vaulted ceiling, an extra-large bed (very comfortable) and plenty of storage. We also had a small balcony looking out over the street and down to the sea. A kettle and tea and coffee were provided and a small fridge was also in the air-conditioned room. Otranto is a small town with some outstanding restaurants, but actually one of the best and well-priced is located in the hotel with both good food and a good wine list. We are both well-travelled and have stayed in some fantastic hotels around the world including the seven-star Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi but we can both honestly say that Corte Di Nettuno is up there with the best of them. You can have the best hotel in the best location, with the best restaurant. But without the best staff nothing works. Every single member of staff puts in 100% to the smooth and professional running of the hotel. They really are the best and every last one of them love working there. It would be unfair to start putting names or job titles on here but every single member of staff is an absolute asset to this hotel and the owner should be very proud of each and every one of them. We have had two amazing and relaxing weeks here and can truly say it has been one of the best holidays we have ever had. Thank you to every single one of the staff for making our holiday what it was."

"Of the 8 hotels we stayed in our recent train/hiking trip, Corte di Nettuno was my favourite. A calm, cool and stylish interior. Real character thanks to the tastefully displayed maritime artefacts ( the hotel is also a museum). Lovely staff. Great room with a large terraced area - perfect ( and quiet). Excellent breakfast. Nice terrace area for sitting out. The location was also super convenient for exploring Otranto."

"We arrived late at the hotel and were greeted with a smile and a glass of bubbly. The hotel was exceptional, the room was beautiful and spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel was eco friendly with lights only going on as you moved through the hallways. I loved the mosaic on the floor which ran through the hotel. Breakfast was buffet style which was delicious and plentiful - I really enjoyed the frisella! We ate at the hotel one night during our stay and the food was beautiful, well presented and good value for money. The hotel wasn’t far from the marina and it was a short walk into the main town which made the hotel nice and quiet and there was lots going on in town with plenty of restaurants, bars etc. All in all we had a wonderful time. You’re doing a great job, well done!"
