iH Hotels Bari Oriente

"May 1 we checked into the hotel and came home late that night. Took a shower in the 3'x3' shower stall and when I opened the door there was a flood on the floor. Figured I didn't close it right. Next night(May2) my husband took a shower late and the same thing happened. He saw what was wrong and temporarily fixed it. Next morning (May3) we reported it to the front desk and they said we could change rooms, which we couldn't b/c he had to leave for a tour. Said they would send the maintenance guy up. Came home late that night (May 3) and found out nothing was done b/c he wasn't on duty that day. Next morning (May4) he came up and told us through the translate app that they can't fix it or get a new shower door b/c they don't make them anymore. Clearly they knew about the problem. Once again offered to change our room but we were leaving at 6 am the next morning (May5) so we refused and they offered us a free drink at the bar, IMAGINE!!! My husband emailed them on May7 and they said they would forward it to mangement and today May 29 we still haven't heard from them. Our travel agent was suppose to get in touch with them and we haven't heard anything from her.Do you think this is really a 4 star hotel. And if you go, don't let them put you in Room 202."

"Location is good and nothing more. Rooms are very small. The breakfast is really very poor - I didnt see such poor choice. Very expensive for such quality, i dont understand good opinions. I was in Bari one year ago , stayed in other hotel 4 stars but this time was fully booked. I dont recommend it. Its 2 stars hotel"

"Stayed at the hotel Oriente JR in Bari. Took a shower the first night and there was a flood on the floor of the bathroom. Seems the shower door doesn’t close properly. Next night around 8pm my husband took a shower and found out that the door to the 3x3ft shower was broken on the top causing the door not to close properly. The following morning we told the front desk and they said they would send someone to look at it. No one came b/c there was no maintenance person there that day. Next day the maintenance person came and basically said that that’s how the door has to be b/c they can’t get another one like it. Also the toilet had to be jiggled b/c it kept running. The room is #202. Seems like they’ll still be having people stay there b/c according to the maintenance person they can’t get another shower door."
