Pisa hotel within walking distance of iconic landmarks

Located in the heart of Pisa, Italy, Hotel La Pace puts you within easy walking distance of the city's most famous sights, including the iconic Leaning Tower. Perfect for sightseers and culture lovers, this welcoming urban hotel offers an ideal base with the beautiful Lungarnos and their vibrant restaurants and bars just a five minute stroll away from the downtown area.

Start each day with what the hotel proudly calls the 'best breakfast in Pisa', a changing buffet of sweet and savoury delicacies that caters to all tastes, including family-friendly options for younger guests. When evening arrives, the American-style bar provides the perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink before heading out to experience Pisa's nightlife.

What La Pace has to offer

    Duomo and the Leaning Tower

Paris has the Eiffel Tower, Cairo has the Pyramids, and Pisa has the Leaning Tower. Some cities have landmarks you simply cannot miss. You might be in Pisa to delve into the history of the tower and its spectacular surroundings, including the Romanesque cathedral that began construction almost 1,000 years ago. Or, you might just want to snap a quick photo of yourself ‘pushing up’ the tower. Either way, it’s only a 20-minute walk from the hotel.

    The Lungarnos

The Lungarnos of Pisa are the city’s beating heart, following the banks of the Arno River. Here, you’ll find picturesque buildings, apartments, hotels and bridges, as well as some of the best nightlife Pisa has to offer. The Hotel La Pace is only five minutes on foot from these beautiful avenues – you could pop into one of the many excellent gelaterias en route and grab an ice cream for the journey!

    Tuttomondo

This colourful mural is one of the last public artworks by celebrated American artist Keith Haring. It took him one week to complete and by the time he’d painted the last stroke a huge crowd had gathered to watch him finish it. You’ll find the mural on the side of Sant’Antonio Abate church, which is practically on the hotel’s doorstep – worth a look, then!

Almost every holidaymaker heading to Pisa does so with the thought of seeing the Leaning Tower up close. It doesn’t disappoint. It’s one of those attractions which looks even better in the flesh. The tower is found in Pisa’s Campo dei Miracoli. But there is far more to Pisa than its tower. Just a walk around the city is a charming experience. As you wander down Pisa’s narrow, winding streets, you’ll come across quaint little shops selling souvenirs. If you’re feeling peckish, then there are plenty of trattorias and restaurants to discover on the back streets serving up some top notch grub. It's your turn to be in the frame.
