Bosco De' Medici Resort

"Wonderful place in every respect, but especially the warm and friendly people working there. Lidia and Franz especially (both speak English fluently), and Antonio the night clerk are all exceptionally competent and really care that guests have a good experience, from simply making checking in and out easy after you enter down a long walk covered by a producing arbor of kiwis, to helping make restaurant reservations, arranging taxi rides and especially arranging for us to tour the archaeological site with the most competent and interesting guide we have ever had, Salvatore. On site restaurant (limited menu but excellent quality of local and traditional specialties that were really good), winery (wine tasting is good and pretty interesting) and pool are all excellent. Grounds are lovely and guests can walk into the center of the city and to the archaeological site easily in 10-15m. Breakfast is more than sufficient and genuine barista made cappuccino or your favorite Italian coffee or tea available. Rooms are specious and comfortable with A/C in the single story building in the midst of a lovely rich citrus grove. Ample and easy free parking in a city where a square foot of available curb space is very rare and hotly contesdted. Even if you are not there to visit the digs and just to relax by the poolside with Vesuvius looming in the northern view, the people and the place make this an exceptional place to stay. "We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making our stay very comfortable. The pool area was the highlight, beautiful, peaceful, and never felt crowded. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pompeii!"

"It is a very nice, small resort about half an hour away from Napels. Great and deep pool area. It is very calm and all the nature and different trees give it a nice atmosphere. The Rome was nice and spacious. The shower was not in a separate area but it was in the middle of the room. We had a very nice hot tub. It was difficult to fill but after we asked reception they helpt us. It was not too expensive. They also have horse riding lessons and tours of the vineyard available and they have a great restaurant with foods from there own mini farm wich you can also visit. Everything was clean but the house keeping did come at inconvenient times."
