NH Milano Touring

"I stayed 2 nights for work in Milan. I have been a Minor Hotel - NH Collection member for many years; I purchased 1 premium room with breakfast, paid a lot despite the member discount. Unfortunately, I found myself in a 3-star hotel room, without complimentary water but only paid, without any amenities (slippers for example) other than a shower cap and a toothbrush. Pillowcases and bed linens were cheap and quite outdated; the morning room cleaning was very superficial, so much so that the used glass was not changed, nor were the towels (left on the bathroom floor as is customary). Guest Service was very approximate, almost useless. The breakfast service has also declined a lot: tables were cleared late and very poorly. Useless from the lady at the entrance to the breakfasts: ma'am, we are not in a nightclub! The only positive note was the restaurant waiters at lunch and dinner, the kitchen, and the reception. Unfortunately, many things need to be reviewed, especially given the exorbitant price of the rooms in Milan."

"We were very disappointed with the check-in experience. We arrived at 12:00 and waited about 20 minutes, only to be told that our room wouldn’t be ready until 15:00. That was perfectly fine with us. However, when we returned at 15:05, we had to wait another 40 minutes in line just to get our room key. During that time, people repeatedly cut in front of the queue, and the front desk staff made no attempt to address it. When I expressed my frustration, the staff member simply shrugged. It was a frustrating start to our stay and a real letdown, especially as we had come straight from the NH Collection in Taormina, where the service was outstanding and incredibly professional. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic selection."
