Ramada Plaza Milano Hotel

"The hotel looked like it was in a degraded state; we had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and were delighted with it, this time it was the complete opposite, breakfast in a ridiculously small room and powdered coffee, the height of irony for Italy. Everything was mediocre."

"For family reasons related to the San Raffaele hospital, we found ourselves almost by chance in this hotel: in the common areas and in the room, we found a refined 70s style, which I liked a lot. The building itself isn't very beautiful, but the interior is pleasant. There is no shortage of space. The room was also very large, with a definitely comfortable bed and a spacious shower. The only thing I would change: there are no drawers, not even small ones. Very important and very welcome is the presence of a small pool, a godsend in a hot period like this. Plus, the possibility of having lunch and dinner directly inside the hotel is a great convenience when you don't feel like going out to look for a restaurant. The restaurant staff was polite and helpful. The location also has its practical advantages: the hotel is very close to the San Raffaele Turro hospital and relatively convenient to the Turro subway station for getting to the center. It must be said that the surrounding area is clearly peripheral and not among the most charming in Milan, but for the type of stay, it meets the needs well. Just a few details that were a bit less straightforward. At the reception, there was always only one person to welcome guests, perhaps also due to the time of year. The curious point—and a bit frustrating if you are in line—is that behind the counter there was constantly another person, who seemed to me to be mostly in charge of security, and therefore could not assist with check-in or check-out procedures. The feeling as a customer seeing the line grow with two people at the counter, one of whom was completely inactive regarding service, is not exactly the best. One last small note: on Sunday at lunchtime our room had not yet been cleaned, so we had to stop by to specifically request it. The intervention of the staff, however, was immediate. Overall, however, we had a good experience, and the quality of the stay remains high. A couple of adjustments to the organization are enough to make it practically impeccable ☺️"

"The Ramada Plaza Milano felt like a real gem to discover, I booked my first solo holiday only a few weeks before I travelled after a particularly difficult first half of 2026 and I’m so pleased I did. The hotel itself is situated well, a short taxi ride from Milano Centrale, a €25 taxi ride to the San Siro if you have trips booked & at the end of the road is Turro metro station surrounded by shops and restaurants. My room was lovely, clean and spacious, I had a beautiful bathroom, big bed & despite previous reviews, my balcony had a table and two chairs! I was in 1606 and was lucky enough to overlook the gardens and pool, I can imagine the view from the other side of the corridor wasn’t as pleasant. The temperature in Milan was 37° on the hottest day and the air con in the room was an absolute dream. There was a fridge big enough for the hotel mini bar and a couple of waters and beers bought from the nearby Carrefour too. I was bed and breakfast during my stay and was pleasantly surprised by the spread offered each morning, cereals, yogurts, cakes, pastries, cheese, meats etc as well as bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, beans and herby potatoes. I saw roughly 10 other guests the whole time I was there so had no noise from anyone, I often had the pool to myself in the day and the bar to myself of an evening. Every member of staff I encountered at this hotel was just wonderful, being on my own, the most conversation I had for 5 days was with Sandro in the pool bar and he was great company. The receptionists are so welcoming and helpful, summoning taxis and even allowing me a late check out time at no extra cost. This hotel was perfect, great for a city break with all the sights but also allows for relaxing around the pool. Doesn’t get better than that."
