Hotel Morfeo Milano

"I am sorry they say. But it just doesn’t seem sincere. I stayed at this hotel twice. Three nights apart. The hotel is not near any areas you might want to see in Milan. Nor is it inexpensive. But the room the first night, a junior suite was surprisingly spacious. I unfortunately left behind some medicine in a special ice pack in the refrigerator. We contacted the hotel both by phone and email. They responded to both the medicine was located and we be put in the refrigerator for us. We shared we would make a special trip back in two days to retrieve it, and made a reservation for the same type room, a junior suite. We returned as promised. An hour before checking they said the room was not ready, but come back and the room and medicine would be waiting. We did. Neither were true. The room was small. Really small. No hotel would call this a junior suite. “I am sorry. But we have many Junior Suites, some are just small,” They explained. What of the medicine? “ I am sorry, it was I who told you it was preserved for you. My colleague threw it away.” Yes you made a special trip to Milan and back to the hotel for the medicine. I am sorry and, no we will not accommodate you in any way. If you may ever need a hotel that cares for its patrons, Hotel Morfeo is not that Hotel."

"Stayed in a triple room. Room was spacious, clean and had a large TV. Bathroom was again, big, clean and nice shower. Provided shower gel, but it made my skin really dry, so avoided using it again and stuck to my own. Check in was fine, with a pleasant welcome. However, this hotel is not a 4 star, the only difference from a 3 star, is that you get a dressing gown. The room wasn't cleaned or towels changed in 3 nights. (We didn't need or want this). BUT it makes you wonder on what basis it can be classed as 4 star, we had to pay €10 per person per night tourist tax, due to being 4 star, and I can not get my head round this. Genuinly wished we had booked a 3 star and spent that money on a meal out in Milan. Was my sons 16th birthday while we were there, hotel takes copies of your passport, so they knew, and his birthday cards were displayed in the room, there was no acknowledgement of this from the hotel, yet when we have celebrated birthdays before, there has been a little note or chocolate bar or something left in the room, (this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel) You are also 20 mins on the tram from Milan centre, so you are not paying for a prime location. Breakfast was €20 per person, we didn't do this, as I think that is far to much for breakfast. There is a shopping centre close by, with a huge supermarket. We got an uber to the San Siro for around £10. The tram is right outside the hotel, which is very handy. Overall there is nothing wrong with this hotel, it is just not 4 star, so manage your expectations when booking, if you want a little luxury, this hotel is not for you, if you want a basic clean room, go 3 star and save your tourist tax money, - honestly, you wont notice much difference, and you have more money to spend in Milan."

"Duration: 1 night Check in: February 24, 2026 (afternoon/afternoon) Check out: February 25, 2026 In short: A very disappointing experience characterized by poor cleaning and poor customer service. I would advise others not to stay here. Description: The room was at check-in in an unacceptable condition. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and there was both visible dirt and signs of mold. These are conditions that should not occur, regardless of standard or price class. We still chose to stay, as we only stayed one night and had limited time. Unfortunately, the service level made the experience worse. At check-in we specifically asked about late check-out, which was also specified as possible in advance. This was confirmed by the reception. We woke up before noon. 12 by cleaning staff who wanted access to the room. When we contacted the reception, we encountered little understanding. Instead, it was shown at regular check-out hours, without taking responsibility for the lack of internal communication or given any real regret. The information about parking was also misleading. What was prepared in advance as a possible solution could not be confirmed upon arrival. When we pointed out the standard of the room at check-out, the responsibility was largely laid back on us because we had not notified from earlier. This was perceived as unprofessional. Positive: The only employee who appeared serviced was in a bar/restaurant. He was friendly, respectful and welcoming."
