"well ok.. where to start.... stayed for work so did not choose this hotel myself and never would! 4 stars this is not! how it got that rating I have no idea! Had to move rooms after the first night because first one was so hideous and dark and depressing, I nearly cried when I walked in! wasn't about to live in that for over 2 weeks! (room on 5th floor was like a prison). So thankful the staff were kind enough to move me though (I have literally never felt i had to do that in an hotel before), at least the 7th floor had a view and was more spacious the good: - LOCATION - excellent - shower water pressure actually not bad - good wifi - someone here said it was bad but i got over 100mb up and down which is very good. - ok view if on 7th floor or above, below then terrible. - nice staff but not great english for some of them. ....er struggling now.. there's a plug by the bed.. there's a kettle and a fridge? THE BAD: - doesn't look like website AT ALL - no idea how it’s 4 stars - 2 AT best! - crappy breakfast, went once, didn't bother again the next 16 days. - tired dated rooms with horrible carpets that could be hiding all sorts out god knows what. - soundproofing just awful (none existant) waking constantly with slamming doors and shouting in corridors - maids ignore do not disturb signs and wake you up. - weird awful hairdryer attached in bathroom - had to ask for another at reception, luckily they had. we Brits like to dry our hair in the comfort of the bedroom, not standing in a cold bathroom! - bidet - why??? - narrow bath with shower on the side wall, not the end one for some bizarre reason, fell over 3 times (hurt leg badly one time - see pic) so very dangerous. bizarre bathroom design that if they got rid of the stupid bidet would have made sense - also a pink sink?! is it 1975?! - The overall finish left a LOT to be desired. - Glad i wasn't the one paying but i understand it is VERY overpriced. - large ‘walk in wardrobe’ well a small dark room with a rail in, but so dark had to use phone torch to see anything. had to ask for more hangers (why with a wardrobe that bit do they the give you 4 hangers?!) - bed TERRIBLE too hard, i like a firm bed, but this was HARD. - horrible duvet like a large sanitary pad, i want a proper duvet, feather or at least soft and fluffy. - light in entry to suite area was broken and kept flicking so i couldnt turn it on. - plug in bathroom sink wouldn't go down properly so had to wash face with tap running."

"This hotel is situated in a superb location. About a 5 minute walk to the Duomo (Cathedral) and Milan’s sights and attractions. The hotel staff are all friendly and professional, and were very helpful in assisting my wife Tracey and I (Mick), from the UK, navigate the city. The rooms are of good size and spotlessly clean. However the bathroom fittings were a little tired with scratches (which were uncomfortable when you used the bath/shower). Daily cleaning and replenishing of items in the room were good, but on occasions the tea and coffee weren't restocked and we had to ask for more. This was rectified immediately by the reception staff. The hotel’s best feature is its 11th floor roof top bar, which has fantastic views of the city. It even has blankets and electric heaters for when temperatures fall. A big thanks has to go to the bar manager Mario who became a friend with his fun, friendly and professional manner, making each visit to the bar a special occasion. The bar serves food but there is no paper menu, they use QR code orders. Tracey and I are unable to use this type of technology but Mario and his staff helped us overcome the issue, lending us their cell phones to read the contents of the menu. We believe that there should be the option of paper menus for anyone, like us, who can't use QR codes. Overall this was a very nice stay, and we have already recommended the hotel to family and friends."
