"Very clean, marbled floors everywhere. Large very clean bedrooms with massive shower. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing - wide choice with great quality, fresh fruit, scrumptious cakes. Free generously-measured alcoholic drink every evening with free snacks. Rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday. VERY central to Duomo and other sites."

"DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THIS HOTEL. When my daughter and recently arrived at the hotel to check in, they wrongly claimed that we had booked two rooms, and had only paid for one. Clearly, they knew that we only needed one room, as when I booked the room, I had booked it for one adult and one child. They refused to allow us to check in unless we first paid for the second room. They said that it was too late to cancel our second room, and demanded payment of over 300 euro. Staff were extremely rude, and my daughter was very upset by this experience. We ended up going to another hotel, even though we had to pay for another room elsewhere. When I arrived home and checked my credit card transactions,I noticed that, without my knowledge and consent, the hotel proceeded to charge my credit over 300 euro AGAIN. I therefore paid for two rooms, neither of which I even used. I sent an email to the hotel to request that they return the funds (300 euro) to my credit card, failing which I would take legal action against them. Their reply? My mistake, so too bad. I am now going to retain legal counsel in Milan to pursue return of my funds. I also intend to contact the local police in Milan, given the hotel's unilateral charge on my credit card, without my consent. Jack Pantalone, Ottawa, Canada"
