B&B Sant'Agostino

"Lovely helpful host allowed us early access and late departure. Room was clean and changed daily. Close to centre and the canal/ restaurant area. However I would strongly suggest to her that more information is given as to how to gain access. You must ring her as in Italy B&Bs are not signposted and the rooms are in a gated community. It is not a B&B as we think of in the Uk, which is a small family run hotel. It is an apartment on the ground floor of a block. Not what I expected at all. That’s not to say it is a problem just unexpected. Breakfast in Italy is the standard cake fruit and coffee. Again unexpected and feels incredibly basic but it is the norm when not in a good hotel. The price varies considerably which is normal this time of year but we got the wrong end at £130 pm when today it is around £90!! I do feel that the price I paid was expensive and would have paid more for a standard hotel if I’d known but to be fair I haven’t had the privilege of experiencing the ‘opposition’. I emphasise that had I known in advance what was coming I might have been quite happy at £100pn."

"When we walked inside me and my colleague were a little taken back at how small it was and that the BnB was just a small part of the complex, having said this Emilia was friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and the beds comfortable but very dated. My TV was longer than it was wide. The toilet system was a nightmare and I had to wear earplugs to drown out the noise. The shower was small and the breakfast should be downgraded to small cakes . The overall assessment of my one night stay was one of discontent and I am unlikely to stay again. The price is extortionate for what it is."

"We stay one night there the owner helpful but we don’t like the room no parking u have to find parking and walk back to the room , but so far good for only one night U have to walk 10 min to reach the shops street"
