"+positives - [ ] Close to the metro system - [ ] Lovely restaurants and bars close by - [ ] unfortunately there are no more positive things to be said about this hotel. It is extremely overpriced. Not sure which organisation awards the Milan hotel star ratings but I think they need to review this property (and would probably change from a 3 star property to a one star) - [ ] avoid this hotel if you want a comfortable, quiet, relaxing place to stay after a hectic day sightseeing in Milan - [ ] Unfortunately it was the weekend of the Grand Prix and all other accommodation was booked otherwise we would not have stayed even one night in this hotel -negatives - [ ] Hotel rooms are in disrepair and badly need redecoration, painting, new furniture, new curtains, just everything (the photos in the hotel profile must have been taken in 1960 when the owners first bought the property and the rooms haven’t been decorated since) - [ ] The shower cubicle is extremely small, totally unsuitable for a larger person and the shower is barely usable - [ ] The internal walls are extremely thin therefore we heard everything from the neighbours - [ ] The nightclub across the street is on until 3:00am every night, it’s extremely loud and you can hear every beat of music, talking, laughing and people leaving the club in the early hours of the morning - [ ] The flatscreen tv in our room was the size of a laptop screen and perched up on the wall, therefore useless - [ ] The light in our room had no cover on it, just the bulb, it was reported but nothing done about it - [ ] The air conditioning unit was ancient, we couldn’t change the settings and it was so loud that we couldn’t sleep with it on therefore the room became very hot during the night - [ ] The choice of breakfast was minimal - [ ] The lift barely held 4 people - [ ] Overall a very disappointing and extremely overpriced 3 night stay in Milan. - [ ] The staff weren’t friendly or helpful, standoffish and unwilling to help when we raised several issues with them. This included the constant noise of school children running around, laughing loudly and talking during the night"

"If this was the only hotel left in Milan to book.....ì wouldn't, its a terrible hotel. We had no option as we'd been let down by an Airbnb scammer and with it being Grand Prix weekend places were thin on the ground. Let's start with the star system. Allegedly this is 3 star. Now I don't know who did that review or when but it doesn't even merit 1 star. It is old and tatty and in severe need of an update. Room was shabby with gigantic old air con unit that sounded like a jet engine. Curtains were hanging off the track, furniture was old. Breakfast was a poor buffet. We had need to complain in the middle of the night about the noise coming from the rooms above and staff could not have cared less. Who I am assuming was a poor excuse for management was super rude the next morning when we mentioned the issue to him. For your info the rooms also look out on to one of the biggest night clubs in Milan: 55 Milan which has an open roof terrace playing pounding music until 4am, which the hotel fails to point out in their blurb. So in a word my advice would be if you are looking for an up to date, well furnished, nice hotel with pleasant management absolutely do not book this appalling excuse for a 3 star hotel."

"No no no no! Never again! The darkest, the most terrible room I've ever been to! Without daily light. Walls were so thin that people outside the corridor could hear everything from your room, so did you. Bed- extremely not comfortable. The bathroom so small that you couldn't wipe yourself without landing your towel in the toilet 🤮 everything in the bathroom was dirty and mouldy"
