Hotel Losanna

"Although the hotel was more like a dorm room, it did have a fridge, which was a plus. Very cramped bathroom. Nice employees at front desk. Despite the appearance of the hotel and rooms, the breakfast was quite good and had plentiful options. The only thing I would have really liked was the addition of a tea kettle in the room."

"We stayed here on our trip to the 2026 Winter Olympics. Considering they could have charged a premier due some of the Games’ events occurring in the City, I thought the price was reasonable. The hotel is a bit basic, but I found the staff friendly and very helpful. It was clean and the breakfast was as to be expected in an Italian hotel. Bread, yogurts, fruit, cereal and hot drinks. I was surprised to find that there were fried eggs and hot sausage as well. The location was excellent for the price. It was near to the Gerusalemme underground station (about 10/15-minute walk), numerous tram line and bus routes. It was also not far to walk into the City Centre (the Duomo is well worth a visit), the Parco Sempione and Castello Sforzesco. The downsides were that we could not turn on the air-condition as it was considered winter. The room was very warm and Milan in February is not exactly freezing, or it wasn’t when we were there. The pipework was also quite noisy so you could hear when next door were using their bathroom. Overall, the pluses more than outweigh the negatives. I would recommend this as a really good place to stay."
