Spice Hotel

"The hotel is somewhat outdated, and the rooms are definitely in need of renovation. However, they were generally clean, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel uses extremely misleading room names. Even travel agencies and tour operators are unable to provide clear information about the room categories. We booked a Family Room, which is described on the hotel's website as a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom accommodation. However, the room name shown on our booking confirmation was "Suite Family Room," a category that does not even exist on the hotel's website. To our surprise, upon arrival we were assigned the smallest Suite Room category, which was not what we had booked and, again, is not clearly represented under that name on the hotel's website. Only after we complained did the hotel offer to move us to a Family Room or upgrade us to a Duplex for an additional charge, which we refused to pay since we had already booked and paid for what we believed to be a family suite. Furthermore, the hotel could not guarantee that the alternative room would have the same sea view as our original reservation. For us, the word "Family" in the room category was the key factor when choosing this hotel. We travelled as a family of four with two teenage children and specifically wanted a spacious room where we could comfortably spend a one-week holiday together. Instead, we were faced with confusing and inconsistent room descriptions that did not match either the booking confirmation or the hotel's own website. Another major disappointment was that the hotel failed to inform guests in advance that the official local taxi company refuses to provide service to this hotel. As a result, we were unable to leave the hotel by taxi, which caused significant inconvenience throughout our stay. They offered a VIP transfer service, hoewver it was not available at all times, like taxis should be. The water slide park, which was one of the main reasons our children were looking forward to this hotel, was closed during the first few days after our arrival. Even after it eventually opened, not all of the slides were operating properly. Considering the prices charged by this hotel, we found both the handling of the room allocation and the hotel's attitude regarding the taxi situation and the water park completely unacceptable. The level of service fell far below our expectations for a hotel of this category. The entertainment program was also rather disappointing and did not meet the standard one would expect from a five-star resort. Likewise, the food lacked variety, with very similar dishes being served day after day. Another major issue was the constant noise during the night. Almost every morning between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m., a service or delivery vehicle entered the hotel grounds. While reversing, it emitted loud beeping sounds that echoed throughout the resort and repeatedly woke us up. It was extremely disturbing and unacceptable that hotel operations causing this level of noise took place in the middle of the night, significantly affecting guests' sleep and overall holiday experience. Overall, the hotel failed to deliver the level of quality and service that should be expected from a five-star, all-inclusive resort. Considering the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard in terms of accommodation, dining, entertainment, and guest services. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not choose this hotel again in the future."

"I'd like to share an honest review of our stay at Spice Hotel & Spa (Belek), where we vacationed with our children at the beginning of June. First of all, there were many things we genuinely enjoyed. 💙 The hotel grounds are beautiful—large, green, well-maintained, and perfect for families. The beach is clean and spacious, the pier is lovely, and the pools and water park make it a great place to relax with kids. A special thank you goes to the animation team. ❤️ The girls from Ukraine were absolutely amazing—always smiling, friendly, energetic, and wonderful with children. Yaryna, we're sending you a huge hello! 🌸 Thank you for your kindness, care, and the joy you brought to our kids. You truly became their little star. Karina, thank you for boccia and all the sports activities! Thanks to you, we stayed active even while on vacation. 😊 Another highlight was the food. There was a huge variety of fresh and delicious dishes every day. The F&B team did an excellent job! Despite the hotel being busy, the waiters and bartenders were always quick, attentive, and friendly. Now, a few things that, in my opinion, could be improved. The biggest disappointment was the reception. When we checked in, we were given a room that was still occupied by other guests. Of course, we were immediately moved to another room, but for a hotel of this level, this was very surprising and left an unpleasant impression. Another issue was the late check-out service. We noticed that different guests were offered different prices for exactly the same service. We paid the full amount, while our neighbors received the same late check-out for almost half the price. We would have appreciated a more transparent and consistent pricing policy for all guests. We also felt that the Guest Relations department could have been more responsive. On several occasions we had to follow up on requests for towels, room cleaning, and technical issues. One day we returned to find our bathroom flooded due to a broken pipe, and we had to wait about three hours for the maintenance team. We expected a faster response from a hotel of this standard. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. We spent quality time with our family, made great memories, and met some truly wonderful people. Despite these issues, the hotel has many strengths: beautiful grounds, excellent food, a fantastic animation team, and an outstanding F&B team that really made our stay enjoyable. At the same time, I believe the service at the reception and Guest Relations should better reflect the overall quality of the hotel. I hope the management takes this feedback into consideration, because Spice Hotel & Spa truly has great potential. 💙"

"Beautiful hotel, the food is amazing and the staff are amazing. All the staff are very friendly, caring and made sure we had the best holiday. One of the staff who did this was Yarynka who was part of the animation team. She was very welcoming & a friendly face to be around. It was always a pleasure speaking to her. The entertainment, the live music & games throughout the day was brilliant Rooms were always cleaned and mini bar was topped up every day The only down side I would have to say is the air con wasn’t the coolest at night so some nights were warm & the banging from other doors would wake you up at night. Over all a great time and I would stay again"
