43 Station Hotel

"The price being that cheap, I think this hotel is quite a good value for the money. Room and bathroom were modern and cosy and everything was working without a flaw (not very usual in most of the hotels in Italy, I've noticed) from the air-condition to warm water in the shower. Location is great, only a short walk away from the city centre and metro. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, basicly bread with the jam and some sweet pastries. Would recommend to book the room only and eat the breakfast in some nearby cafe."

"Have just checked in, so will need to comment further at a later time, but have found it difficult to settle in to this modern hotel. There are numerous light switches and controls to master and ther care 4 different buttons to press, in the right order, to access the television. We had to ring reception to get the lights working and again for help with the television. Unfortunately one reception staff member, Luca, seemed irritated by my pleas for help and I waited 20 minutes for the technician. When no one came I went down to reception to find out what was going on. Finally someone came who could not speak English at all. The thing that is most hurtful is the superiour, unfriendly attitude. How do these people get employed if they dont enjoy welcoming and helping their guests? I felt like a second class citizen for not being in a superior room and I was corrected impatiently for not describing my room number correctly."

"Decent place on a convenient location. Not really great maintenance combined with quite old place, so it is average in total. Breakfast was ok. Room and everything in it is quite old, so also giving a bad impression"
