La Paul

"Exceptional service and fantastic location! We had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Paul. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for our self-catering trip. We decided to try the breakfast once during our stay, and it was very pleasant! A huge thank you to the staff for their outstanding service—they were extremely helpful with useful information and local taxi bookings. In particular, when our pre-booked airport transfer failed to show up on time, the front desk acted fast to organize a prompt alternative taxi so we wouldn't miss our flight. I am so grateful for their quick help! The hotel is in a beautiful location right on Lake Garda. My only small suggestion would be for the team to regularly hose down the bridge pier, as bird and duck droppings made it a bit difficult to walk across to swim in the lake. Was a very chill area nice and quiet ."

"Terrible cleanliness, rooms with dead bugs crushed on the walls and bathroom tiles. Even though I requested they be cleaned, it was never done. The dining room staff was kind and courteous."

"We arrived with 7 people, including 3 children under 10 years old. Lobby staff was wonderful and rooms are great. We went to the hotel restaurant at 7pm, immediately upon opening. There was nobody in the entire restaurant, nobody waiting, and no indication any tables were reserved. We were refused service, with the hostess stating the restaurant was booked. Clearly they did not want to seat families with children, and possibly American. We found a lovely restaurant a couple blocks away. Later, when I tried to talk to a manager, the staff would not tell me when a manager was on duty. They told me to send an email, which does not work as a valid address. Clearly, this is not a family friendly, nor American friendly hotel, and unless your a senior guest I suggest you stay elswhere"
