Relax in lakefront lodgings
With a clutch of relaxing facilities and spot just a stone’s throw from the lakeshore, Park Hotel Casimiro is a top pick for an Italian lakes adventure.
The gardens that wrap around the hotel are peppered with trees, and home to two outdoor pools. The first is a family-friendly number where everyone can relax and take a dip, while the second spot is just for the grown-ups and sports an impressive lake view.
And if you fancy a dip in the lake? A private pebbled beach sits at the end of the hotel’s gardens, and is accessible for a daily fee per room. Sun-worshipping, on the other hand, is best done on the roof adults-only roof terrace. Treat yourself to a day pass and you can kick back under a gazebo or have a soak in the Jacuzzi. The real R&R, though, happens in the wellness centre. Boasting an indoor pool, a pair of sauna, Turkish bath, and more, step into these serene surroundings and you’ll soon leave the world behind.
The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner with a selection of local and international specialties prepared fresh each day. The bar dishes up light bites throughout the afternoon, and a couple of nights a week you’ll be treated to some live piano music to wind down the day.
Just so you know, selected services including the private beach and the roof terrace are subject to a per room supplement for daily access, and are subject to seasonal opening. The adults-only pool is free of charge to access, but you may be required to book in advance.
