It’s set in a 19th Century building on the scenic path that circles the water, meaning it comes with sweeping views over Lake Como. It’s right by Piazza Cavour, the city’s main square, so it couldn’t get much more central. Plus, you can walk to the train station – with connections to Milan and its airport – in just five minutes.
Heading out and about? You’ll find the Duomo and plenty of museums within a five-minute walk, as well as a string of designer shops and boutiques. If you want to see Como from above, visit Brunate – a hilltop town of Art Nouveau villas with sweeping views over the lake. The funicular station is a 10-minute stroll away.
