Hotel Villa Durrueli Resort & Spa Ischia

"Villa Durrelli is located in Ischia Ponte, close to restaurants,cafes and shops. Beaches near by and the fantastic castle. Its a warm and inviting hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was fairly large with a king size bed plus an extra single bed. The storage unfortunately is minimal .it has a tv ,mini bar and has wifi. You can request an iron and board. The bathroom is functional and has a reasonable shower. It is good value for all it offers. The rooms and hotel are immaculately clean. The breakfast is excellent, everything good quality and presented nicely. The waiting staff are friendly and relaxed. Sara the breakfast manager makes everyone feel at home. We didn’t experience any noise issues. The pool area is clean and well maintained."

"It is our last day of a fortnight holiday here in Ischia and it’s been fantastic. The hotel is relatively small hotel but with a great pool plus a small spa. The staff at this hotel are top draw, so friendly and accommodating. Starting in reception with Laura and Emilio plus another 2 whose names I can’t remember. Lots of advice and guidance given when asked , many thanks. Our room was a junior suite which was a good size if lacking in storage space. My wife brings LOTS of clothes on holiday. The bed was enormous and SOO comfortable. Breakfast is served to your table with a variety of croissants cakes eggs bacon etc. All very good . Only disappointment was the fruit offering was a bit dull the same every morning. Apart from that very good . The staff work very hard to please. Sarah was the only name I know but everyone was worth a mention. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Ponte and a 15 minute bus ride to the port area both full of restaurants. The Hotel is situated in a quiet part of town so little noise to disturb a peaceful night sleep."

"Actually a nice hotel with friendly staff. But... the hotel advertises on all booking portals that it is wheelchair accessible. I booked the hotel based on this description. I did get a ground-level room on the first floor, but all other areas in the hotel are not accessible by wheelchair because the elevator can only be reached via steps!!! The breakfast room and the garden with the pool are in the basement, the restaurant on the roof terrace. Everything inaccessible for wheelchair users. We had to settle for room service, like it or not. Not a good solution. Not every hotel has to be accessible, but advertising it as such when it is absolutely not true is an impertinence."
