Elena Hotel

"Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. The only real positive point of the hotel is the central location, convenient for getting around and reaching the main attractions. The room, however, turned out to be absolutely below expectations. The bathroom had no window, was very damp and had a deteriorated ceiling, while in the bedroom the curtains were dirty and stained and the general cleanliness left much to be desired. We also found numerous mosquitoes inside the room, to the point of making it practically impossible to rest during the night. The experience was not positive in terms of safety and accessibility either. The rear exit, which leads toward the beach area, remains open until midnight and therefore allows free access to the room area. Furthermore, the exit is located in a poorly maintained area, with piles of trash and boats, and it is also quite difficult to exit and reach the beach from that point. The reception staff seemed superficial to us, not at all welcoming, further contributing to the feeling of a lack of attention toward guests. Even the lack of a simple complimentary bottle of water in the refrigerator was a negative note, especially considering the level and price of the property. In summary, the location is the only truly positive aspect. For the rest, between the condition of the room, cleanliness, presence of mosquitoes, state of the bathroom, hospitality, and management of common areas, the stay was decidedly disappointing. I expected much more and, based on my experience, I would not choose this property again."

"Clean, welcoming, very competent and kind reception staff. The room with a balcony is excellent! Highly recommended!! Strategic location, in front of the bay where the boat docks for Camogli, Punta Chiappa, and San Fruttuoso. We will be back!! One small note: the access to the area facing the sea should be taken care of a bit more. A “cemetery of canoes” out of commission from the nearby facility that rents out watercraft is not very pleasant to walk through…"
