Conca D Oro Hotel

"We were very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Conca d'Oro. While the location and views are beautiful, the overall guest experience fell well below our expectations. The service at the restaurant was particularly disappointing. We felt specifically Alejandro was not welcoming, and communication was lacking. For example, no one informed guests that the buffet was being cleared away, which felt discourteous and poorly managed. The checkout experience was also frustrating. We received a call reminding us that it was time to check out, and there was no flexibility offered for a slightly later departure. Rather than feeling valued as guests, we felt rushed to leave. Additionally, the rooms were much smaller than expected, and no private terrace as it appears in the pictures, especially considering the price paid for the stay. Overall, we left feeling that the service did not match the hotel's reputation or cost. Unfortunately, the combination of unfriendly service, poor communication, and small rooms made this a disappointing experience, and we would not choose to stay here again."

"We’ve just come back from a week at Hotel Conca D’Oro, it was absolutely perfect! The staff couldn’t do enough to help, we had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the bay. We dined at the hotel two nights and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Positano!"
