"This place is an absolute gem right in the heart of Maiori—literally steps from the beach. We loved our stay. Even though a few of the lower floors were being renovated, we barely noticed—no noise or inconvenience at all. Our room hadn’t been updated yet, but it was spotless, comfortable, and a great value. The only downside was the temperature—since AC isn’t available in April, the room got pretty warm, even with mild weather outside. We ended up sleeping with the window open, which brought in some noise from motorcycles along the waterfront. Close the windows, though, and it’s perfectly quiet. The staff really made the experience—everyone at the front desk and breakfast was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop each morning was a highlight: tons of delicious options and absolutely stunning 180° views of the Amalfi Coast. The location couldn’t be better. You’re just steps from the Path of the Lemons and an easy walk to the ferry dock, plus restaurants, groceries, gelato, and the beach are all right there. We visited in mid-April, so it was nice and quiet. Maiori has a laid-back, charming vibe—much more relaxed than Amalfi—making it a perfect home base for exploring the coast. We stayed two nights and honestly wished we could’ve stayed a whole week"

"Great base in beautiful Maiori to see the amalfi coast. Right over the road from the beach and a short walk to the ferry point. Other new guests were offered a welcome drink which was a nice touch unfortunately we we not offered this. Breakfast was plenty but the same every day. Overall ok though . We stayed in superior room with balcony. The balcony was the best part of the room though it was functional. Didn't feel like 4 star and could do with updating but would stay there again though."

"Spent 3 nights at the Hotel Panorama in Maiori on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the beach and sea, and it was so nice in the mornings and evenings to sit on the balcony with our coffee or drinks and just look out at the beauty. First of all, we spent a considerable amount of time trying to determine which city on the Amalfi Coast we wanted to stay in. We knew we didn't want the crowd and expense of Positano or Amalfi, but also did not want to be able to easily visit those cities. Maioru fit the bill. For us, it was a perfect blend of tourist services but not too touristy. Unlike Positano when we visited, Maiori was not crowded at all. I originally had looked at renting an apartment in the older part of town but reading through reviews of them they all mentioned the hills and stairs to climb to get to them. My wife and I are in our 60's in relatively good shape, but the thought of dragging our luggage up hills and stairs was not appealing to us. Hotel Panorama is a 5 to 10 minute walk on flat land from the bus stops (we took Amalfi Airport Link from Naples Airport, which I also recommend). It is also a 5 to 10 minute walk to the ferry landing, which made it easy for us to visit Amalfi and Positano. And you are literally just across the street from the beach and restaurants and bars. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. There was also a delicious breakfast each morning on the rooftop patio that had eggs, bacon, sausage, and an incredible selection of pastries. If you are going to the Amalfi Coast, and looking for a place quiet and less crowded than the Positanos and Amalfis, then take a look at Maiori and Hotel Panorama."
