Thingholt Apartments from Center Hotels

"Central, safe, clean, warm and all amenities so glad we did self catering , as sooooo expensive to eat out . I would stay at the apartments again if ever in Iceland. Review of iceland itself. Beautiful, very expensive, lacked cultural heritage feel of other European cities, not many grand buildings or churches, didn't get a community vibe but maybe area we stayed in. Though felt very very safe and clean. Whale watching absolutely amazing, Lava show do not miss ! Went to the Sky Lagoon was bliss, whilst in the infinity pool looked over the wall and a seal popped its head up in the sea next to the lagoon, fab moment. Walks around the harbour lovely. Twinkling cafes warm and friendly, though remember Iceland one of the most expensive country in the world. Lovely tasting coffee and hot chocolate and cinnamon buns. Can't do visits on public transportation to the areas of natural beauty etc so no going it alone unless you hire a car. Other than that coach trips Thank you Iceland ps didn't get to see the northern lights but an excuse to go back ;)"

"2026年9月下旬に家族4人（夫婦と成人した子ども2人）で、レイキャビク市内の中心街という利便性の高い立地にあり、2人使用ベッドが2つ以上と洗濯機と乾燥機が備わっているこちらのアパートメントホテルに4泊しました。 立地 レイキャビクの主要なエリアや素敵なカフェ、ショップも近く、極めて便利でした。 雰囲気 スタイリッシュかつ快適でとても気に入りました。 客室 実に居心地が良かったです。 ラジエーターのノブを回して室温を調節できたのも助かりました。 物理的な鍵の代わりに暗証番号を使用しての本館とアパートへの入館・入室も便利でした。特に早朝にチェックアウトしなければならなかった際には重宝しました。 滞在した客室の外には、テーブルと椅子が置かれたベランダがあり、夏であればそこで朝食をとるのが素敵だろうなと思います。 一方、私たちの滞在したアパートは、本館の離れのような一戸建ての中にあり、屋外のいくつかの階段を上り下りする必要がありましたので、チェックインやチェックアウトの際にスーツケースをいくつも抱えて移動するのは少しきつかったです。 また、夕方やチェックアウト時の早朝には一部の場所が非常に暗かったため、屋外の階段には照明を追加する必要があると感じました。 コストパフォーマンス 上述の不便さはあるものの、立地と居心地の良さ、さらにベッドの数と洗濯機・乾燥機があることから料金に見合う価値があると感じ、レイキャビクでの滞在先として大いにお勧めします。 清潔さ 極めて清潔で、不快感は全くありませんでした。 騒音レベル 夜間や早朝に上階の宿泊客の足音が聞こえることがありました。 サービス フロントのスタッフは親切でフレンドリーでした。 また、チェックイン時間前の数時間、スーツケースを専用ロッカーに預けさせていただき、チェックインの際も丁寧に説明してくださり助かりました。 設備 アパートメントにはシャワー（ただしバスタブ無し）、タオル、ハンドソープ、ヘア＆ボディソープ、洗濯・乾燥機、食器、コーヒーメーカー、テーブルと椅子、テレビ（ただし現地放送の受信無し）が備わっていました。 ベッド（ソファベッドを含む）はいずれも快適で、寝心地が良かったです。 Our family of four (a couple and two adult children) stayed for four nights at this apartment hotel, which is conveniently located in downtown Reykjavík and features at least two double beds, as well as a washing machine and a dryer, in late September 2026, Location Extremely convenient as it was close to major areas within Reykjavik and to wonderful cafes and shops. Atmosphere Stylish and comfortable and we liked it very much indeed. Rooms Nice and cozy. It was nice to be able to adjust the room temperature by turning on/off the radiator knobs. Having pin numbers for entering the main building as well as the apartment instead of physical keys was also convenient, especially when we had to check out very early in the morning. There was a veranda with a table and chairs outside of our apartment and I guess it would be nice to have breakfast there during the summer. On the other hand, we found it a bit stressful to reach and leave the apartment we stayed when we checked in and out carrying a number of suitcases as it was within a detached house with a few outdoor staircases. We also felt that additional lighting was necessary for the outdoor staircases since some areas were very dark in the evening and early in the morning when we checked out. Value Despite the inconveniences mentioned above, we feel it’s worth the price given its location, coziness, the number of beds, as well as the availability of a washing machine and a dryer, and highly recommend this as a place to stay in Reykjavik. Cleanliness Very clean. Noise level Footstep sounds of the guests staying on the floor above could be heard at night and early in the morning sometimes. Service The front office receptionists were kind, friendly, and also very helpful in letting us leave our suitcases during the hours before check in time in the storage lockers and when we checked in. Amenities The apartment was equipped with a shower (but no bathtub), towels, hand soap, hair and body wash, a washer-dryer, dishes, a coffee maker, a table and chairs, and a TV (though it did not receive local broadcasts). Each bed (including the sofa bed) was comfortable, and we all slept well."
