"Essential hotel a few km from the center. Clean rooms and good breakfast included. Automatic reception and the staff present were helpful and kind. Excellent base for arriving in and departing from Iceland"

"We have been in Iceland the second half of September, to go all the way around the island starting in Reykjavik with two nights at this hotel. Hotel very well located, at the entrance of Reykjavik coming from the airport, it has free parking but there are only 16 spaces; if you arrive late like us there is no problem, there is plenty of parking 🅿️ in front of the hotel. The rooms have a code that they send you as the check-in day approaches, so it does not matter that there is no staff at the front desk. The rooms are normal, although if you bring checked airline luggage they are a bit small. The staff is very attentive, pleasant, and professional, doing everything possible to make you feel comfortable; they have a room in case you bring food from outside, with tables, and you can eat there without any problems. Clean rooms and well-connected for going to the center. Very good buffet breakfast with plenty of products. We asked for hot milk for the coffee and they recognize us Spaniards because we are the only ones who drink it that way. Highly recommended for staying the first few days. Thank you for making us feel at home, it's nice to see the kindness with which you treat us"

"A good little hotel. Rooms are small, but adequate. Beds are comfy, but pillows are too soft for me. They have closets in the hall, where you can grab extra towels and fans! They could definitely add some hooks, so that costs can be hung (especially if wet), and shelves under the bathroom sink would allow for toiletry bags. Also, bathroom fan would be helpful with steam and odours. Other than that, the room had everything. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Great coffee! The race to get a parking spot sucks. You can park 3 extra cars in garage, for a total of 19, and three more outside. Grocery store near by for items. Not a great location if you want to walk downtown. It's a hefty walk uphill for some part, and takes a solid 40 min. Cute little place"
