100 Iceland Hotel

"Accommodation is very basic. The room was clean and tidy and serviced with new linens each day. It could definitely do with some upgrades. It is an excellent location as far as being able to walk to nearby sights and attractions. There seems to be no one present a lot of the time to manage the front desk. You essentially ring a doorbell when you arrive and are admitted entrance remotely and then you use your room card. Due to delayed flights, I arrived after midnight and had communicated this and so I was grateful to have the door opened for me when I arrived and my room ready for me. The hotel is right next to a parking garage which is very convenient if you have a car."

"It was a short business trip but the cozy confines of the hotel, wonderful restaurant and great hospitality of Illja and her warm staff made it feel like home. The 24 hour access to the spa and gym made the endless daytime hours useful and relaxing. The location was superb and perfect for shopping and dining."

"I would rate lower if I could. I stay at Super 8 motels in the states, and believe me, they are luxurious compared to this house of horror. There is no lobby, and you have to call to get in. There is no bar or restaurant only a bubble tea room. The bed has sharp corners, which are hard to avoid in so small a room, and there are no sheets, just two twin blankets. The bathroom has a ledge that I've already tripped over twice. The bathroom floor is sticky, and the sink basin is so small that water gets all over the floor. Worst of all the 'night table,' is a square hollow wooden box, screwed sloppily into the wall. It and the lamp fell over on me when I placed my diet coke on it. I have to stay two more days, but I would leave in a heartbeat if I could."
