Ion Adventure Hotel

"This is NOT a 4-star hotel. I wouldn’t even consider it 2 star. The rooms are noisy, the bathroom is tiny, damp, moldy and the water reeks of sulfur. The onsite restaurant is insanely expensive for the food they served. We were unfortunately booked here for 2 nights and besides the lovely view on the drive in, I would never recommend this place to anyone. Marriott should be ashamed."

"The hotel is presenting itself as a luxury hotel in the plain nature. It fells short of this. There is a Power Plant in the neighbourhood. Furthermore we had some issues during our stay: clogged sink, TV channel offered but not available, safe - twice we have to ask to fix it, persistent toilet discharge noise all the night and our bed was not made despite asking for it without any reason. One could say that those are minor issues, which they are. But having to insist in fixing them is cumbersome. And not in line with luxury service. Fortunately, at the second day, we were attended by a proactive employee; she fixed most of the issues, and even presented us with a good bottle of wine. The hotel is interesting. Nice view, relaxing spaces, very good breakfast, Parking generous but questionable value for money."

"This is the perfect place if you want to be removed from civilization for a few days and relax. We loved our rooms, the bar, heated pool/hot tub, art, architecture, setting and service. We are just so happy to have spent three days there from the US. We hope to return."
