"Pulling into what initially looks like a farm, we were pleasantly surprised to find a truly hidden gem. The exterior may be unassuming, but the rooms are clean, sleek, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep, and the shower was gloriously warm — just what you need after a long day. Though we didn’t use the hot tub ourselves, we saw other guests enjoying it and it added to the cozy, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. This place is a perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort — a true hidden gem that we’re glad we found."

"The hosts Aaron and Mary were very nice. Our room was wonderful. The setting was peaceful. We had the three course meal and loved it. My wife said the lamb at Hotel Vos was the best lamb she had had since being in Iceland. The sweet potato soup and mushroom soup were yummy. And, the deserts were amazing. We had to leave before breakfast opened to catch a ferry to the Westman Island so they pack us something to take on the road. Their thoughtfulness was appreciated. We would definitely return."

"This hotel / lodge is a great place to relax and recharge after a days sightseeing. You are met with pure silence once you walk from reception to your lodge. The room was nice and clean with comfortable beds. The rooms had individual heating systems and the temperature helped to create a cosy feel. The bathroom was tidy and functional. I was lucky enough to see exceptional Northern lights out in the vast open countryside surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was a simple affair - cereal, fruits, coffee, etc. I liked that there was a little lounge area where you can sit with a free self serve tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Dinner at the hotel was nice - quick service from a set menu."
