Hotel Loa

"We stayed three nights at this relatively new hotel, which is pleasantly located right on Route 1. The staff were friendly and helpful. Both the room and bathroom were tidy and clean, and the breakfast buffet offered enough variety for a good start to the day."

"Everything is clean, neat, well cared for. We had a cocktail at the bar before dinner and had a wonderful conversation with the young man tending bar. I did not get his name unfortunately but he was a joy to talk with. It added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. We also had dinner in the hotel. Very well prepared dishes. Hats off to the chef. All in all it was one of the nicest places we have stayed. As I often say it is the people who define a great stay from just staying the night."

The lobby is particularly impressive—it feels more like a proper city hotel than something you’d expect in this area, giving a stylish first impression. One detail I really appreciated is the focus on functionality. The room includes dedicated space to place up to three suitcases, which makes a big difference—no need to constantly bend down to access your luggage. It’s a small touch, but it shows the hotel understands real traveler needs. The room also comes with a smart TV, so you can easily watch Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services—great for unwinding after a long day of driving. Breakfast is quite basic, with eggs, sausages, bacon, bread, and fruit. It’s sufficient, but don’t expect a wide variety or anything particularly special."
