"I have always wanted to go to Zakynthos as a traveller and so upon making this trip happen I looked over the entire of Zante and worked out where best to stay to have really good access to everything. Zante town was definitely the place to go, and it’s there I found Diana hotel! Upon arrival, I noticed just how convenient the location of this hotel is. There is everything within minutes of walking. Such an , endless shops, places for ice cream, lovely restaurants, super markets and of course the Zante port. Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted by a lovely lady who I later found out was called Sofia. She made my entire trip wonderful and she was absolutely faultless, so if you stay here and get to meet her you’re very lucky. As for the room, I was a little taken aback by how plain the rooms are. If you want a very local experience then Diana hotel rooms definitely offer that, it can throw you off a bit when you first enter but overall it was a fine room, bed was super comfy too! The bathroom for me was the biggest let down. I had a comfort room, a premium I think they called and the size of my bathroom was a bit of a joke. I’m 20 years old, average height and weight and I was actually squeezing myself in and out of the shower and door because it was so narrow in there, I was so grateful there was a vanity in the room because there was no chance of doing makeup or anything in there besides using the toilet and showering. However! I can’t fault the staff at all, room was always cleaned top to bottom and my clothes and towels were left organised. One other word of advice, don’t come here expecting a huge balcony where you can sit and drink outside, the balcony’s are very small and narrow but for me that wasn’t a issue at all, as it wasn’t something that I cared about. Breakfast was good, definitely what you pay for. There was a nice array of fruit, toast, Greek foods ect. There was a coffee machine, juice options and plenty of sweet choices. For me it was really good value for money! The level 4 pool bar and seating area was just as described on the picture, both day and night are absolutely lovely to sit outside, there a named spirits which I have to say did surprise me! Drinks are affordable and delicious and service is impeccable! The overall vibe of this place is homey, clean and comfortable. It definitely gives that holiday feeling whilst also giving you a real taste of local life. The noise level for me was fine, I only heard a few noises outside but nothing that kept me up, it was mainly street cats! Overall would I stay here again… yes! Would I stay for a long as I did probably not but that’s because you don’t really need to stay in Zante for a week to see it all, it’s incredibly manageable in 5 days. My personal opinion is don’t stay here if your expecting a 5 star experience with all inclusive vibes, it’s definitely not a resort! But for me and my reason for travel it was good value for money and I did enjoy my stay for the most part. Once again thank you to the staff! You can definitely tell this place is family run, it truly gives this place a really intimate vibe."
